Samsung has been grabbing the mid-range smartphone users in Pakistan with its A Series. Samsung A15 is another budget launch offering you a cool set of features and performance that you will love. It’s a reliable and powerful device plus the Samsung A15 price in Pakistan makes it an eye candy for Samsung lovers. Let’s check out how it performs in real-time.

Samsung A15 Review

Signature Samsung Design & Build

From the very first look, Samsung A15 screams its manufacturer. It’s a known fact that all Samsung phones are designed the same and it’s rare to find any slight difference. The A15 comes with a signature Samsung design offering you a flat yet sleek design in a plastic body with a frosted back. Coming from Samsung as a mid-range phone, a plastic body is expected that lets you enjoy the device in its own elegance.

The flat sides make it easy to hold and the placement of buttons on the right side makes it convenient to use the device on the go. The glass screen seems a little bumpy on the front however the same glass is fitted in and gives a flat texture. One thing we didn’t like is the dust-catching quality of the body. You can observe the micro grains and feel them frequently on the device. It’s hard to keep it clean and you may need deep cleans more frequently.

A Display You May Love Like Always

Samsung always wins on its screen colors and graphics. At a reasonable Samsung A15 price in Pakistan, you will get a 6.5-inch super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 800 nits of brightness capacity. This means you can enjoy colors, graphics, and motion pictures nicely on the device.

The bezel on the screen is noticeable and seems a little too broad compared to other high-end phones by the company. It makes sense that the pricing range of the device reflects the craftsmanship as well.

A Nicer Performance That You Need

If we would say that Samsung A15 has some of the best Samsung chipsets then it’s wrong. MediaTek 6835 is definitely not the best Samsung can offer you overall but pricing is a limitation here. Keeping the cost at a minimal level, the chipset fits right into the device.

It comes in combination with 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage that is expandable to 1TB using a microSD. You can have a reasonable clock speed of the processor that helps in multi-tasking and switch between the apps. The 90Hz refresh rate makes the transition even smoother.

Mostly, the smartphones coming with 4GB RAM may not support gaming but it’s Samsung so you are paying for performance. A15 supports your light to moderate gaming. The games are smooth and give you a nice experience overall. However, for the high-end games, you may feel the graphics chopped, and somehow slower device.

Decent Camera Kit to Smooth Clicks

One thing we love about the Samsung A 15 is missing our dedicated camera bump. You will not have a platform having all the cameras landed on it. In their original capacity, the cameras are settled nicely at the back with a minimalist outline.

Overall, you have a 3-lens camera kit at the back with a 50MM main camera with f/1.8 that is perfect for low-light clicks, portraits and even wide-angle landscapes. It is conjoined by an ultrawide 5MP lens giving you more grip on covering bigger and wider landscapes, groups, and more. A 2MP macro lens allows you to capture the small things and details. In the daytime, you can enjoy all high-contrast pictures however for the low light, the sharpness may be compromised.

Longer Battery Keeps You Running

A15 comes with a 5000mAh battery offering you a longer run time for the device. The battery capacity seems pretty regular in the phones coming out this year but the real thing is how it delivers. If you are a light user, the battery can last for about 2 days easily on a single charge. However, for the heavy users who love to make complete use of the device, it lasts for the day at least.

Supporting 25W fast charging is a claim by the company but comparing it to the fast-charging benchmark of 2024, it’s not so fast to charge the device. It takes almost 15 minutes to hit the first 22% and then 30 minutes to reach the 44%. You cannot expect to charge it fully in under 60 minutes. It will take almost 1 hour and 30 minutes for a complete bottle-up.

Everything That’s Off with Samsung A15

Overall Samsung A15 is a good choice to make when you want to stick with the brand and still looking for a mid-range option. However, if you are into advanced phones offering you all the waterproofing, scratch and dustless bodies and other attractions, this one might not impress you a lot. Here are a few things we found not too attractive in the device:

  • Not the WOW camera results
  • No waterproofing
  • Plastic body that attracts dust
  • A larger Bezel
  • Slow charging
